Pro Horn Section

The ‘B3 Horns’ are a professional horn section comprising of Joel Purnell (Tenor/Alto Saxophone), Simon Nixon (Trumpet/Flugelhorn) and Kevin Holbrough (Trombone). This diverse and talented collective of musicians embodies a vast amount of experience in both live performance and all forms of studio work and are currently available for session work, tours, live gigs and internet studio projects.

Individually, they are also successful solo musicians in there own right, performing regularly at festivals, theatres and concert halls Worldwide. Their biographies include tours with ‘Embrace’, ‘Tony Hadley’, ‘Martha Reeves’, ‘ABC’, ‘Peter Grant’, ‘Dennis Rollins’, ‘The Official Tribute To The Blues Brothers’, New York Club scenes favourites ‘Capri’, and jazz artists such as lengendary Los Angeles Guitarist Rick Zunigar (formerly of the Stevie Wonder band) to name but a few.

The ‘B3 Horns’ are currently featured on the eagerly awaited new album "Satellite Sweetheart" from 'Dave Formula' (formerly of the bands Magazine, Visage and The Angel Brothers), plus the latest album 'My Time' from R&B sensation 'Laura'.
